THE 35MM PANTS

Merging my love for film and fashion, I designed the prototype for what I call The 35mm pants. A brown premium leather pant decorated with a film strip along each side showcasing various film stills within the frames on the subject matter of Black Love on screen.

A follow up pant was created in Japanese denim to showcase a more casual design but in the theme of iconic photographers and their works. Images from Carrie Mae Weems, Jamel Shabazz, Gordon Parks and of course myself line the frames of the pants.
